The godfather of Kwara state politics and respected elder statesman, Oloye Olusola Saraki is dead.Chief Saraki died peacefully in his private home in Cameron road, Ikoyi, Lagos, early this morning, Wednesday, November 14, 2012.
The father of former governor of Kwara state and currently a lawmaker in the upper legislative chamber, Senator Bukola Saraki died at the age of 79 years.
We learnt the politician had been battling an ailment for the past two years.
Sources say family members and political associates are currently trooping to the Ikoyi home of the Sarakis to commiserate with the family.
