Bikini Basketball League: Actually a Thing!

Women in bikinis, balling in an organized league. It was really only a matter of time until someone had this genius idea. Think of the action bikini photos!

No, Marisa Miller is not involved. This was just a chance to shamelessly include a photo of her. Anyway, the Bikini Basketball League has been around in concept since 2011.
There are seven set franchises in six cities:
According to the league’s Twitter, the Chicago Desire, Orlando LadyCats, Miami Spice, L.A. Ice, New York Knockouts, Hollywood Hotties and Atlanta Fleet Angels are set to do battle.
It's like the wildly successful Lingerie Football League, only for basketball. Hot, we guess?
The BBL still has a long way to go, however. It can't even figure out its own name.
The league's website and Twitter aren't on the same page. One calls it the Bikini Basketball Association (as seen in the logo), yet the other refers to it as the Bikini Basketball League.
Either way, the web site declares that action will be underway in just 36 days.
